Hi,

some days ago I have asked my provider to give me owner rights for all files in FUDforums directory (instead of wwwrun). I wanted to customize a little bit. After changing the owner rights of the files FUDforum do not work anymore (maybe this wasn't the best idea Embarassed

, but I didn't start with customizing yet Rolling Eyes

). The browser gives me just a blank page. So I cannot login and therefore cannot make a consistency check. What can I do? The MySQL-DB is doing fine...

Any suggestions welcome!

o.k. I helped myself and have run a chmod 777 over the whole FUDforum folder... and now the forum is available again. But I cannot imagine that this is secure?

You can make it 755 or 711.
