Hello,
I have 8 forums on mydomain.net
I want to move only 1 of them on mydomain.com
Then I want to delete the forum on mydomain.net

What i have planned to do :
- upgrade fudforum on .net (better to have the same version at the 2 places)
- install the same forum on .com
- make datadump from .net
- copy the dump to the domain.com
- import the dump
- delete the 7 forums I don't need on the domain.com

questions

- is it the right GLOBALS.php because there are anothers

/var/www/forums/adm/GLOBALS.php
/var/www/myrootdir/include/GLOBALS.php
/var/www/myrootdir/scripts/GLOBALS.php
/var/www/forums/GLOBALS.php

- What is the consistency checker used for?

- is that enough? Is it precisely what I need to do?

There is only one "real" GLOBALS.php, it is found inside the include/ directory, the rest are symlinks to the real file.

Consistency checker is used to verify the data in the forum and fix it when necessary/possible.

As far as your process goes, it sounds like a good plan.
