For no apparent reason today, all messages on my system (about 50) had disappeared, and replaced with the very first message I ever entered.

Anyone seen this before?

What is your system config?

Had any action been taken that caused the messages to go away?

Oh yeah one more question, does your forum account have permission to do ALTER TABLE queries?

If you are unsure, simply login into FUDforum's mysql account and do

show fiels from fud2_msg;

see if you see a field called offset.

Redhat 7.2, Mysql 11.15, FUD 20020701

The only new thing I tried was to attach a file to a message today.

Howdy again... I emailed you, but it bounced back today...

I have deleted all the duplicate messages and started again, but kept a copy which I can restore if you'd still like a look??

OH, which address did you send it to, forum(at)prohost(dot)org ?

Yeah, I'd still want to take a look and see what caused the problem.
