Very old "bug". After running consistency check, poll options order are mixed. Don't know if this is a bug, but it confuses some people alot. Its kind old behavior, but searching this forum didn't revealed any previous discussions about it for me.

What version of the forum are you using, have not seen a report of a similar bug myself.

Always trying to use latest stable version. 2.7.5 atm, started from at least 2.6.11, and all versions was affected.

UPDATE: Tryed to replicate bug now. I created new topic, with poll. Running consistency check didn't mixed up results. But after I posted reply in this topic, with another poll, voted on both of them, and runned consistency check, options on first post poll became reversed. I've added some more polls and replys, and runned consistency check. First poll reversed back to original order, and second poll reversed to backward order. Very weird. I guess if you edit poll later, it will afect it in more complicated way, rather what simply reversing it.

I've tried to replicate the problem but so far was unable to do so. Did the poll this problem happened one had >1 vote?

ãÉÔÁÔÁ:

voted on both of them

So, yes, both polls had 1 vote cast.
I've tried to replicate it again now. Here is what I've done:

1. Created new topic without vote. (I don't think that creating vote from scratch or edit affects it).
2. Edited first post to add a vote with label 'test', and added poll options 4, 3, 2, 1 (so they come in order 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4).
3. Posted a reply with poll, named 'test2', and same poll options.
4. Posted reply without poll
5. Posted another reply without poll.
6. Voted on option 2-2 on first poll, named 'test'
7. Voted on option 3-3 on second poll, named 'test2'

--- At this time both polls are in correct order ---
6. Runned consistency check.
7. Refreshed test topic.

--- Now both polls are reversed. ---
First one, named 'test' are in this order:
1. 3 0 / 0%
2. 2 1 / 100%
3. 1 0 / 0%
4. 4 0 / 0%

Second one, named 'test2' are in this order:
1. 4 0 / 0%
2. 3 1 / 100%
3. 2 0 / 0%
4. 1 0 / 0%

--- Now to test further I'm doing the following: ---
1. Posted reply without poll
2. Runned consitency check
3. Posted reply with poll, named 'test3', and with 3 poll options: 3, 2, 1 (e.g. 1-1, 2-2, 3-3). Didn't voted on anything.

--- Polls orders didn't changed at this moment, i.e. they are in same mixed order as above ---

4. Runned consitency check
--- Now the polls are mixed again, cept 'test2', which keept the same reversed order ---
All of the polls are in reverse order now. 'test' are in same reversed order as 'test2':
1. 4 0 / 0%
2. 3 0 / 0%
3. 2 1 / 100%
4. 1 0 / 0%

'test3' are in reversed order:
1. 3
2. 2
3. 1
(no percents, coz no votes cast)
