With Netscape:
1) From the Main Page, not logged in, choose login 2) Enter login information, check Cookies 3) Forum brings you back to the Home page NOT logged in and no error messages 4) Navigate to a forum and try to post new thread 5) Error screen, informing you that you need to log in. 6) Click the login link from that page 7) Enter login information, check Cookies.
Forum returns you to Home Page, this time logged in

I went to http://www.ccg-workshop.com/forum/ and registered an account there.
Then I did the following in Mozilla 0.9.9 & Netscape 4.76 on Linux.
Clicked on the login link & entered my login info and clicked login. It logged me in just fine. This is all with cookies enabled.
Now, there is a potential problem if your "main page" is not http://www.ccg-workshop.com/forum/ but rather a different domain. This would definately cause the problem you are seeing.
Because initially the browser would fail to set a cookie on the wrong domain and when you get redirected you get redirected to the correct domain, which is why the 2nd login is working.
Could you tell me is the test you've done were on Windows and if so which version, I'll then try to repeat my test using those browsers on Windows.
