I have an existing SMF forum that I need to retain the posts in. I have been searching around looking for a means by which I can import an SMF 2 forum to FUDforums. I realize that I may have to go through several gyrations to get there, but it's understood.

Any help, pointers or shoves in a good direction would be appreciated.

Looks like we don't have a SMF converter yet. However, it's normally quite easy to write one. I can do it for you if you have a test forum (not too big) that I can use for testing.

Right now it's at just under 30K posts. Too large?

I should mention that this is for the SMF2 format.

SMF2 should be fine. 30K posts is a bit too much for testing. However, if it's all that is available, it will have to do.

The SMF converter was completed a while ago.
