I'd really like a feature where you can have a registration process where people register, then their request is moved to a moderators authentication queue, if the moderator accepts their request, the confirmation email is sent.



Also, Private forums!!! -- where you can only get access if the moderator(s) give you permission....

I am very interested too in such a authentication process...

Another way to do this may be to first send a authorization email to moderators, then, once the authorization validated say by one moderator replying to that email, start the already existing confirmation process: confirmation email sent to the new user... 3 stages instead of 2...
