A user of ours has noticed that a phpBB forum he uses allows him to sort the order of posts from the default most-recent-last to most-recent-first. He has asked if (a) FUDforum can have this feature, and also (b) if we can set the default to most-recent-first.

I've seen how the default can be changed in the User selectable post order thread, and this also states that there were no plans (at that time) to allow users to sort messages - but that the forum could be customised to add this option to the user control panel.

So for (a):

1. Did anyone do this development, if so can it be shared
2. Are there any plans currently to add this as a standard feature for FUDforum

I think it would be a useful development.
