Why do you want to disable it? If you really must:

Click on 'Group Manager' and disable 'Post' & 'Reply' for all forums.

Hi naudefj - thanks a lot, I never would have found that! We're [seagullproject.org] consolidating communications in our Google group, hence the need for readonly mode.

If you are interested, FUDforum can be configured to "sync" with Google Groups via its Mailing List Manager. Replies on the forum will be propagated to G/Groups and posts on G/Groups will be imported on your forum.
