Hi

I'm trying to install FUDforum on our local network using the wizard, and I'm getting stuck at the database stage.

The web server is on a Linux VM, and the database is on a different server on the network - I can connect to the db from the webserver using a command-line MySQL client, but I can't seem to get the settings correct in the wizard. The MySQL server is on a non-standard port (it was set up by our DBAs, so I have no control over its configuration), and I know the machine name but not the IP address - of course I could look it up, but it might change.

Error message is:

2005: MySQLi says: Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql-fudforum:4458' (1) @ Failed to establish database connection

Can I still use the wizard for this kind of installation, or will I need to do a manual setup?

TIA!
