In the signature part, on my forum users want to be able to use a image. They use <img src="wotever"> and it dont show the image.

did you allow people to have images inside their signatures, check you global control panel. Also, unless you allowed HTML they need to use FUDcode to insert images. Using the [img] tag, read the FAQ on FUDcode.

o its working now in the profile part wot is that image text box for. Can u enter a url and it display like http://homepages.uel.ac.uk/M.N.Lansley/alig-side.gif and if it is suppose to display somewhere where.

The image box in the profile allows you to enter an image url and when someone views your profile they will see that image in addition to other profile information.
