Hi,

I set up a newsgroup. All the topics are beeing syncronized, but i get "no message body" in all of them. Where can i find out what is going wrong? is there a logfile? What are the permissions in for the file/dir, and what dir? is it the /html/data/messages/msg_1 file?

Yup, /html/data/messages/msg_1 contains the bodies of the messages, you must make sure that the user who the cron process reposible for importing NNTP messages can write to this file.

another question,

I did the "Thread Pruning" to delete all the messages, and it also deleted the forum, by deleting the forum the Exec Line "/home/epartner.ch/html/data/scripts/nntp.php 4" was deleted. When i reasigned the forum and i put in the settings for the nntp, i got a new parameter
-> "/home/epartner.ch/html/data/scripts/nntp.php 5", which means i have to write an e-mail to the Hosting company, and ask them to make that change. Is there a way to change the parammeter 5 to 4?
