Hello

I try to install the forum (newest version) on my provider. Because PHP is in save_mode i had problems with the folders.

So i made a directory root/"discusion". In this directory i put the install.php. Then i run this script. After this i got also a new directory in the root called "forum". So i have two different directories for the forum. Thats not proper, but the forum was working.

After a few new try's to install in one directory- without succes - i have the folder forum in the root.

Is it possible to put the forum in _one_ directory also on a PHP save_mode system? How?

Sure, make the WWW_ROOT the same as DATA_DIR during the 1st install step.

Hi prottoss

i tryed a lot of combination to install the forum. It is really horrible Sad

i did use the same dir for www_root and the data_dir! The result is a message:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: posix_geteuid() in home/foo/temp/install.php on line 404

i don't remember the way it was successful
