I connected a newsgroup with a forum
All messages were imported in the forum
Then I removed the forum and created a new forum.
I removed the crontab job and also the newsgroup setting in fud.
Then I defined the same newsgroup again for the new forum ,but I get 0 messages and no error log. I also get no errors when I run the script from the command line.

How's that??

Later I discovered in the error/.nntp a LOCK file for my newsgroup and some more file with the newsgroup name. The contents was 0 kb or 1kb and a number in the file. I removed all of them by deleting them and it looks like I can read the newsitems again (all)

Is there a procedure to remove a newsgroup from fud, so that I can read all items again (because of changed settings)??

There is a file inside the nntp directory containing the last file retrieved from the newsgroup, remove this file and then run the import script.
