despite my having set that to "yes" on the page on which one Edits Global Anonymous Access. An Anonymous replier gets the message:
Anonymous users aren't allowed to reply

If you would like to register go to the registration form
If you would like to login please go to the login form
when they try to reply to an existing message.

There's probably a simple answer to this, but I have to admit I find the permissions system a little opaque at first.

Which group manager did you use the one linked to from the front page or the one in adm/?

To control individual user permissions (including for all anon & all reg users) use the userland group manager (linked to from the front page).

In group manager (linked one Smile ) I got "n/a" for the setting.

That because you set the setting to N in the adm/ group manager effectively denying yourself the access to change those settings Wink

The funny thing is that in admin group manager I have "Yes" for Vote for EVERY group Smile
