Valid HTML? [message #14310] Wed, 12 November 2003 05:38 Go to next message

I'll come clean and admit I'm a complete snob when it comes to HTML validation. I've searched high and low for a PHP forum that outputs valid HTML (or even better XHTML) out of the box, but none even come close. FUDforum is an excellent product - I was particularly impressed by the installation script - but the HTML is littered with invalid elements and even hosts a load of font tags for no apparent reason.

Has anyone put together a set of templates that validate yet? I'd rather not try myself if it's been done before.

Dunno what you are talking about, stock FUDforum installation passes W3C HTML 4.01 Transitional. This (support) forum is not an example, simply because the header ruins the compliancy somewhat.
