Greetings folks. First, I'd like to state I've been a VERY HAPPY user of Fud Forums for some time now. I'm amazed that they make this available for our use and it has answered every need I've every though of in a forum.
Now, my installation issue is this. After using RC1.1 I think it is (the latest anyways) without any problems for a month or so, I started getting errors when trying to connect to the forum. My users did as well. Something about error line 49, contact administrator, bla bla bla. I had backed up my MySQL data so figured, I'd just try a re-install then load the data back to see if that cleared the issue. However I now get this error on the first step of the install process:
Your WWW_ROOT does not correspond with the SERVER_ROOT path you have specified. (unable to retrive: http://vcair.com/forum/WWW_ROOT_CHECK, on disk as: /home/vcairco/public_html/forum/WWW_ROOT_CHECK, received data: w/error: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable
Any ideas? Things started going downhill initially when I started getting reports that the Poll option and clicking on the icons and font colors didn't do anything. Then the major errors of not being able to conntect to the forum at all.
Even stranger is I have a seperate management forum on the same server running ok. I still sometimes get the "error, line 49, bla bla bla" when clicking on new messages, but just now it worked fine, so I tried reinstalling the main forum, but still get the error above.
Yes, I did use the correct URL
thanks all!
Lance
