I am installing FUDforum on our servers. We run 2.5 before on PostgreSQL. Now we try to use it with Mysql.

Version: install.php,v 1.105 2004/01/04 16:38:24 hackie
fudforum_archive is present in the dir (compressed ?!)

Last screen: errors.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7241250 bytes) in /usr/local/www/data/www.golfclub.be/htdocs/include/compiler.inc on line 334

Ok. PHP.INI, we increase to 16M

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 19199232 bytes) in /usr/local/www/data/www.golfclub.be/htdocs/include/compiler.inc on line 334

Euh ? we increase up to 32M

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 256250736 bytes) in /usr/local/www/data/www.golfclub.be/htdocs/include/compiler.inc on line 334

Ok. That's a bug, or Your error handling is not quite handling the problem.

So what do You suggest to solve it ?

A likely fix for the problem has been added to CVS, I will be releasing RC1 tomorrow it'll have this fix.
