I often have to log in whenn using http://fudforum.org/forum/

In my setup of my own FUD I've specified that cookies will ensure visitors to reuse their session within two weeks.

So, what's the setting here? Do you allow a user to be logged in from multiple computers simultaneously? I use sometimes browse to fudforum.org from work.

This forum it setup in such a way that when you login from 1 computer/browser it will automatically terminate any previous sessions you had in other browsers/computers.

There is an option to enable this setting in the forum, it's called multi-host login. However in the interest of safety I prefer to keep it off. This is important because people tend to forget to logout and on public machines it means that the next user sitting at that machine can access that account, this is especially dangerous with long term cookies.
