I have a couple of questions:
1. I activated a template called "path_info." It locked up my forum so I could not read any messages. I couldn't even get into the admin panel. I finally clicked the back button on my browser until I got to an earlier setting and deleted it. What is this template for?
2. Is there a template the simulates the previous FUDforums I have seen with the header information on the left, instead of on the top. There are also icons in the tree display that stay next to the text as it indents.

This template allows directory stile URLs like index.php/a/b/c vs index.php?y=a&z=b, not all servers support it. Which is why in the main admin control panel there is an option to enable/disable it as well as test link to determine if your server supports this functionality.
There is no templates to simulate older forums.
