Can't add avatars to gallery! [message #18579]

Recently upgraded to 2.6.3, and decided to tackle the Avatars section of my new forums. Users can upload their own avatars and that bit works. What does NOT work is me ADDING avatars to the builtin gallery list. I get errors stating that such & such addition is a duplicate entry , even tho there's no LIST of avatars under the manager after I upload them and add them!

I can't get the import-gallery function to work at all, it just rattles off errors no matter what I put in there. Help! what am I doing wrong?

Clearly you are not doing something correctly. If you are working with individual images you first need to upload said images and then you can create avatar entries based on them.

As far as avatar gallery you specify a directory with images and the forum will import them.

That's nice , but WHAT am I doing incorrectly? That's the issue I'm stuck with here. There really aren't that many steps.

1.) Get a 64x64 PNG file
2.) Upload it to the server via the Avatar Manager
3.) Pick the icon in the Avatar manager, & set a name and description for it
4.) Hit the 'update' or 'add' button (can't recall what it's named)
5.) Icon magically gets added into the Avatar list on the Avatar Manager page.

That's basically all there is too it, right? I'm running through those steps.. over.. and over. I keep getting SCRIPT LINE ERRORS. Any USEFUL suggestions are appreciated on this subject.

What are the errors that you are getting?

If you want, give me access to the forum so I can see the problem for myself, perhaps it'll give me some ideas.
