Hi,

I'm having a puzzling problem: I'm subscribed to a forum, and whenever I get a notification about a new post, I am given the link to the same old topic in a different forum.

This is the default forum for maillist.php messages that come through and are not associated with another forum already.

Would be grateful for ideas.

Cheers,

Tobias

What kind of a notification are you getting (New topic or new reply)?

The subject line reads like this:

Quote:

New topic in forum default, called [Adna-list] ACTION ALERT: URGENT - Come Support of the Jubilee Act, by Nunu"

The forum name is correct and the post does appear in the forum.

The URL at the bottom reads:

Quote:

To participate in the discussion, go here: http://www.kabissa.org/forum/index.php?t=rview&th=49

This is an existing topic in a different forum - the same one as always.

I wonder if this is related to my little hack to have a defautl forum for mailing lists?

Cheers,

Tobias

It is possible that this is due to the hack, since I cannot replicate the problem with regular messages imported into the forum from a mailing list.

OK - this weekend I'll take a closer look and see if the problem is occuring in other forums, and then try with/without the default forum hack. The default forum hack is great, btw, and might also serve others and so might be worth including as a feature.

Cheers,

Tobias

Hi Ilia -

It seems to happen when I have the full text in notifications turned on. I've turned it off and the links are now correct.

Cheers,

Tobias
