Time incorrect [message #22755]

Hi
the time in my forum is incorrect, i set in the admin control panel / Server Time Zone: Server time zone, specified in time offset from UTC: ITALY-Rome

But the time is -6 hours?

I notice that somethimes the time is correct now for example:
Ora corrente: lun feb 14 18:24:47 CET 2005

when i'm log out

when i log in the time become as this:
Ora corrente: lun feb 14 12:25:49 EST 2005 (is not correct!)

How can i do?

The time displayed in my forum when i'm log in, is the same of your forum:
Current Time: Mon Feb 14 12:22:21 EST 2005

2: can I modify the date stamp and change as this?:
lun 14 feb 18:24:47 CET 2005

--------
3: what is "CET" or "EST" near the year date?

There is usually >1 variant of the timezone, not all systems support them, so try serveral. There is also timezone settings, global forum one and one inside your profile. Make sure the one inside your profile set to the desired timezone.

Ok i set in my profile the correct time zone.

Now, can I set as default time zone for new account registration the italy/rome time zone??

That's what the timezone setting in the admin control panel is used for among other things.

Can u tell me where I find the file for invert the time stamp in this way : "..14 feb.." and not "..feb 14.."
