It seems it's impossible to attach any file to a public message that is over 1 meg. The setting on the forum in question is set to 10240 KB, however anything over a meg fails to show up in the attachment list after upload. There is no error. I am able to attach an 800k file ok. Stats on the system are:

Apache: 1.3.24
PHP: 4.1.2 (post_max_size = 200M)
MySQL: 3.23.48

Old php versions (yes 4.1.2 is old Razz ) have a bug with uploading of large files. This is most likely a problem with your PHP rather then FUDforum.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case..
I just upgraded to php 4.2.1 and the same problem persisted.
I did find out what it was, though.
php.ini: upload_max_filesize = 2M
Feel free to beat me over the head with a frozen wombat and delete this thread.

I don't get it. When I look at my php.ini file it just reads

register_globals=on
output_buffering=on

What should it read to change my up load limit from 2M to 5M.
