Have you noticed, that only moderators would be shown at the starting-page, but no group-leaders. Didn't the group-leaders have even more facilities than normal moderators?

Actually moderators technically have more 'power' then group leaders. In addition group leaders serve a completely different function from the one served by moderators. They manage user groups, not forums.
