That's what the whois data returns, there is nothing broken. If it were broken you'd see an empty page.

I gave it a specific IP address. It gave me results for '0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255'

I had to go to an NSlookup site to find the information.

addendum: This query was for my US IP address that formerly returned a specific result, as recently as last summer.

You can use some other good tools to show informations about IP addresses, like http://www.ipgp.net

Sorry for the necro-post. Currently running V3.1.0. When I click on an IP from User Activity or a post, Arin puts this message at the front of its results: Quote:
Query terms are ambiguous. The query is assumed to be:
"n <actual IP address>"
Where would I look in templates or messages to find the query that is being submitted?
