I have no username on this forum, apparently!?
This may be reproducible.
1.) I edited my profile to include a url signature, but incorrectly used fudcode in this fashion (notice the quotes, ignore those *'s please):
2.) I then noticed that that did not work, and changed my url signature to (ignore those *'s please):
3.) My username suddenly disappeared from all of my posts. Wow!

OUCH...
That was a major bug, I just fixed it.
In fact it is so major I am making 2.2.3 release, which will be avaliable shortly, as a fix to the problem.

No need, no data was lost, so as far as that is concerned it is a harmless bug.
