Hi,
I am just wondering if FUDForum is a good forum engine for the international multilingual target audiences.
I would like every user to allow to choose his/her content of the forum he/she can read. Most people in Europe can speak at least two languages, so it would be logical, say, for Germans to choose En+Ge part of the whole forum.
Any hints?
Thanks!

Simply make the name of the forum/category in the desired language. Generally people will only go into places they understand. You can of course choose to be more strict and assign people to groups based on their language of choice. Then groups would do hard limits on what people can and cannot access.

Oh, it is not really feasible.
Consider tones of all combinations like "du-ru", "Ru-De", "tr-de", "de-tr", "en-fr", "en-fr", ...
and tones of users, to be manually assigned to these groups
Perhaps, i misunderstood your hint though
