Hi, I have my forum setup to allow max avatar size of 6000 bytes, but a member has a animated gif that's 90186 bytes.

Her avatar is definitely being served from the forum and not another site.

I have the latest release of FUDforum 2.7.7.

Hi, I "fixed" this problem by deleting the user's avatar and setting Fud to only use built-in and uploaded avatars which solved the problem. I didn't save the gif.

However, I ran another test to duplicate this behavior, and with another file attached I was able to use a larger avatar (45000 bytes) than the control panel allows (6000 bytes).

This wouldn't be a big deal if Fud then would just draw from that url from then on, but it doesn't - it draws from it's own files. However, ideally, it would be nice if Fud policed the avatar sizes uploaded or linked.
