The permission system in the 1.2X forum is somewhat limited, and this will be remedied by the group system in version 2.0.

However, 1.2X forum has some features you can use. 1st you can make a forum hidden, this it will be hidden from view and only people who know the forum's URL will be able to view it.

Hi!
Can anybody tell me, if it is possible to give some users the right only to read a forum, while others have the possibility to read and write?
In addition to that, is it possible to hide forums to some users or show only some forums to them?
If this is possible, where can I get information about it?
