Re: FUDforum 3.0.2 released |

You need to download 2.7.7, import your backup, upgrade to 3.0.0, and then upgrade to 3.0.2.
Key points:
- you need to restore to the version you've backed-up.
- FUDforum 2.x releases must first be upgraded to 3.0.0 before it can be upgraded to the latest release.

Thanks I am looking to install a fresh version of my forum from a 2.7.7 backup file.
Can I go straight to 3.02 then import my backup into it, or should older versions be preinstalled first??

FUDforum 3.0.2 released |
Sat, 20 November 2010 11:29 |
|
FUDforum 3.0.2 is now available for download. Users on FUDforum 3.0.0, 3.0.1, 3.0.2RC1 and 3.0.2RC2 can upgrade to this release.
Changed since the 3.0.2 RC1 and RC2 releases include:
1. Users can now schedule ACP tasks from the Job Manager (automated message imports, backups, etc).
2. Updated jQuery to release 1.4.3.
3. The latest localization updates from translatewiki.net were applied.
4. Several bug were squashed.
This time we've make two distinct bundles/packages available:
1. FUDforum2Go, a pre-installed small footprint forum for users running Windows. No web server or database is required. Users can simply download, unzip and run it.
2. The traditional install/upgrade scripts for users with web sites that can run PHP scripts. Note that unlike previous releases you now need two files to install or upgrade: fudforum_archive AND either install.php or upgrade.php. The command line package was also removed as both scripts can now run from the command line as well. Details are available in the README file.
If you can help, or have good ideas for our next release, please add them to our wiki at FUDforum 3.0.3.
Best regards.
Frank
