New registrations - login name - first letter gets drop [message #162488]

I did a test registration and received the verification email

Clicked on the link and everything was good.

Upon viewing my login information the first letters were missing

Login Name example: "forum user"

The system will have it as "orum ser"

Version - FUDforum 3.0.0

Any leads will be appreciated.
