Does MIME attachment decoding from imported NNTP messages work? [message #187199]

Before I waste hours trying to troubleshoot it, can anyone confirm that decoding of MIME attachments in imported NNTP messages actually works?

My FUDforum seems to interpret the MIME formatted message correctly, but any attachments just appear as empty files (0 bytes in size) on the forum.
Inline UUencoded attachments work. The problem is only with MIME attachments.
