Adding or Editing fields in "Required Information" and "Optional Information" [message #28567]

Good morning.

After a new user clicks the "Register" link at the top (next to the cute rocket image) he gets, what I think is called the "pre-registration" page, which requires him to click the "Agree" button to continue.

If he clicks "Agree", the user is taken to the Registration page which has Required Information fields and Optional Information Fields.

"Click here to see what this looks like. Click again to close the image view."

Is it possible, within either area to ...

Add more fields?
Remove any of the existing fields?
Edit the name of the fields?
Add fields that are not text fields? eg. Radio Buttons?

If so, which files allow me to do this please?
